What we hear in Englewood and Rotonda.
Sandy coastal soil drains water and nutrients away from grass roots. Sod struggles, weeds move in and the lawn never fills in.
Sandy, muddy paws and dead patches wherever the dog runs.
A yard that looks cared for without mowing, watering or weekend work.
There's a better way. One install, and the yard stays green on its own.
Englewood and the surrounding coast, from Rotonda West and Placida to Manasota Key and Boca Grande, is laid-back Florida at its best. The sandy soil that makes it beachy also makes grass hard to keep alive. Turf solves that for good.
Creative Grounds is a woman-owned Southwest Florida outdoor living company. We design and install artificial turf, pet turf, putting greens, pavers and pool decks along the Englewood coast.
⭐ Rated 5 Stars by Homeowners & Contractors Across Florida
Every Service. Every Solution.
Englewood clients often combine turf with a paver patio or a pet run for low-maintenance coastal living.
Green all year with no mowing, watering or fertilizer, built on a compacted base that stays level and drains fast.
Turf lawns →No more mud or dead spots. Permeable backing, odor-control infill and blades made for active dogs.
Pet turf →Backyard greens with real contours, fringe and cups, designed around your lanai, pool or yard.
Putting greens →Paver driveways, walkways and patios on an engineered base with edge restraint and polymeric sand.
Pavers →Cooler-underfoot travertine and paver pool decks and coping, often paired with turf borders.
Pool decks →Outdoor lighting and planting design that ties the whole space together after dark.
Design & install →What lasts in Florida is what is built underneath. Every Creative Grounds job follows the same four steps.
Old grass, roots and soft soil come out, and the yard is graded so water moves away from the house and pool.
A compacted aggregate base keeps turf and pavers flat and stable for years.
Permeable backing and base prep that handle Florida downpours without puddles.
Edges secured for storm season, seams hidden, and a final walkthrough with you.
