Pavers That Stay Level, Pool Decks You Can Walk On Barefoot
Paver driveways, patios, walkways and travertine pool decks for Naples and Southwest Florida homes and businesses, built on an engineered base so they don't sink, shift or crack. From the woman-owned team that also installs your turf.
Sound familiar?
The hardscape problems we're called to fix most often.
"Our pavers are sinking."
Low spots, rocking pavers and puddles on the driveway, usually from a base that was never compacted properly.
"The concrete is cracked and stained."
Old poured patios and driveways crack with ground movement and rust, mildew and tire stains never come out.
"The pool deck burns our feet."
Dark concrete or old coating that gets too hot to walk on in July, and peels or chips around the coping.
"Weeds and ants in every joint."
Washed-out joint sand lets weeds, ants and grass push up between the pavers every season.
Hardscapes We Build
Complete outdoor living, designed and built by one team.
Paver Driveways
Curb appeal that lasts, built to carry vehicle weight on a thick compacted base with solid edge restraint.
Patios & Lanais
Paver and natural stone patios that extend your living space, from small seating areas to full outdoor rooms.
Pool Decks & Coping
Travertine and paver pool decks and coping that stay cooler underfoot and frame the pool beautifully.
Walkways & Entries
Front entries, garden paths and side-yard walkways that tie the house and landscape together.
Retaining & Planter Walls
Segmental walls for raised beds, grade changes and seating walls around patios and fire features.
Fire Pits & Outdoor Kitchens
Gathering spaces built around a fire feature or grill station, finished with pavers, stone and lighting.
Why Our Pavers Don't Sink
A paver job is only as good as what is underneath it. This is our standard on every project.
Design & layout
We measure, plan drainage and help you choose the paver, color and pattern before anything is dug.
Excavate
We remove old concrete, grass and soft soil to the proper depth for patios, pool decks or driveways.
Compacted base
Aggregate base installed and compacted in layers. This is the step cheap crews skip, and why their pavers sink.
Screeded sand bed
A level sand bed with proper slope so water drains off the surface and away from the house and pool.
Lay & restrain
Pavers laid tight in your pattern and locked in with edge restraint so the field can't spread.
Joint sand & seal
Polymeric sand swept in and set to resist washout and weeds, with optional sealing for color and stain protection.
The Pink House: Full Backyard Transformation
HGTV featured this Bonita Springs home in its "Would You Buy a Pink House?" roundup. Creative Grounds then transformed a tired, patchy lot into a complete outdoor living space: artificial turf front and back, a backyard putting green, a paver patio and fire pit, a paver driveway extension with a brick mailbox, stepping-stone walkways and landscape lighting.

Travertine Pool Deck & Pet Turf
A stained concrete pool deck and a patchy, muddy yard, replaced with a bright travertine pool deck and pet-friendly artificial turf wall to wall. Now the dogs and kids have a clean lawn to run on, and the pool area finally looks finished.

Pavers + Turf: Our Signature Look
Most paver companies stop at the stone. We're artificial turf experts too, so we can design and build the whole space: turf joints between large-format pavers, turf borders around the pool deck, and paver patios that flow into a putting green or pet area.
One team, one schedule, one warranty conversation, and a finished backyard that looks designed, not pieced together.

Commercial Pavers & Turf
We design and build hardscape and turf projects for businesses and communities, not just homes.

Clubs, hotels & venues
Putting greens, practice areas, event lawns and paver courtyards built for heavy traffic.
Storefronts & campuses
Low-maintenance turf and paver landscapes that look sharp for customers every day.

Paver FAQs
Straight answers to the questions homeowners ask before a paver project.
How much do pavers cost in Naples and Southwest Florida?
Paver projects start at around $12 per square foot for larger areas. Your final price depends on the size, the paver or natural stone you choose, the pattern, how much excavation and base work is needed, and extras like borders, steps or sealing. We measure on site for free and send an itemized written proposal. Financing is available.
Why do some paver driveways sink or shift?
Almost always because of the base. Pavers need a properly excavated area, a compacted aggregate base, a level sand bed and a solid edge restraint. When any of those steps is rushed, pavers settle, separate and rock. We build every job on an engineered, compacted base.
Pavers or concrete for a Florida driveway?
Pavers flex with ground movement instead of cracking, can be lifted and relaid if repairs are ever needed, and give you far more design options. Poured concrete often costs less up front but cracks and stains over time and is harder to repair invisibly.
Are travertine pool decks really cooler?
Travertine is known for staying more comfortable underfoot than many concrete surfaces in the Florida sun, which is why it is so popular around pools. We also offer light-colored pavers that reflect heat.
Should I seal my pavers?
Sealing is optional but recommended in Florida. It helps lock in the joint sand, resists stains and mildew and enhances the color. We can seal new installations and advise on resealing.
Can you combine pavers with artificial turf?
Yes, and it is one of our specialties. Turf joints between pavers, turf borders around pool decks and paver patios next to turf lawns give a clean, modern, low-maintenance look. One team builds both.
Do I need a permit or HOA approval for pavers?
Driveways and some hardscape projects can require a permit, and most HOAs require architectural approval. We tell you up front what your project needs and prepare the drawings and product samples.
How long does a paver project take?
Most patios and walkways take a few days. Driveways and pool decks typically take about one to two weeks depending on size, demolition and site conditions. You get a schedule before we start.
Do you install Tremron, Techo-Bloc and TriCircle pavers?
Yes. We install Tremron, Techo-Bloc and TriCircle pavers, plus travertine and other natural stone. We bring samples so you can compare colors, textures and price points.
Do you do commercial paver and turf projects?
Yes. We design and build pavers and artificial turf for HOAs, apartment and condo communities, golf clubs, hotels, retail and office properties, and builders.
