No More Muddy Paws. No More Dead Spots. Pet Turf Built for Florida Dogs.

Sound familiar?
What dog owners tell us before they switch to pet turf.
"Muddy paws all over my floors."
Every Florida afternoon storm turns the yard into mud, and it all comes inside on four feet.
"Yellow spots everywhere."
Urine burns St. Augustine grass, leaving dead patches no amount of watering will fix.
"A dirt track along the fence."
Dogs run the same path every day until nothing grows, and the dirt gets tracked through the house.
"Fleas, ants and chemicals."
Fire ants, fleas and the pesticides used to fight them are no fun for pets or kids.
What Makes It Pet Turf?
Pet turf is not just regular artificial grass laid in a dog area. Every part of the system is chosen so urine drains, odor is controlled and the surface holds up to daily running, digging and rolling.
- Fully permeable backing so liquids drain straight through
- Compacted, free-draining aggregate base, not dirt
- Antimicrobial or odor-neutralizing infill options
- Durable, dense blades that stand up to paws
- Secured edges dogs can't pull up
- Non-toxic and safe for pets and kids

Pet Turf vs. Natural Grass
Why Florida dog owners are making the switch.
| Natural grass | Pet turf | |
|---|---|---|
| After a rainstorm | Mud and puddles | Drains through, usable in minutes |
| Urine spots | Yellow, dead patches | No burn spots, stays green |
| Digging | Holes and loose dirt | Much harder to dig, edges secured |
| Pests | Fleas, ticks, fire ants | Far fewer places for pests to live |
| Chemicals | Fertilizer and pesticides | None needed |
| Upkeep | Mowing, watering, re-sodding | Pick up, rinse, periodic enzyme clean |
| Inside the house | Dirt and mud tracked in | Clean paws, clean floors |
How We Install Pet Turf
The base is what makes pet turf drain and stay odor-free. This is our standard.
Remove
Old grass, roots and contaminated soil come out.
Grade
We slope the area so water moves away from the house.
Drainage base
Compacted aggregate base that lets liquids flow through.
Pet turf
Permeable pet turf, seamed and secured at every edge.
Infill
Odor-control infill brushed in for a clean, fresh finish.
Pet Turf for Every Space
Residential and commercial pet areas, designed around how your dogs actually use the space.
Backyard Pet Lawns
A full green lawn for dogs and kids to share, with no mud and no dead spots.
Side-Yard Dog Runs
Narrow runs along the house, cut around AC units, pool equipment and fences.
Potty Areas
A small dedicated relief spot that is easy to rinse and keeps the rest of the yard clean.
Balconies & Rooftops
Pet relief areas for condos and terraces with drainage layers underneath.
Apartment Dog Parks
Community dog parks with agility features, tree rings and wash-down layouts.
Kennels, Groomers & Vets
High-traffic turf for pet businesses that need a sanitary, easy-clean surface.

Keep It Fresh: Turf Care
A quick rinse handles most days. For busy dog areas, a pet-safe enzyme cleaner breaks down residue before it can smell. If you would rather not think about it, our turf care service does a deep enzyme clean, brushes the blades back up and tops off infill on a regular schedule.
Pet Turf Installation Across Southwest Florida
We install pet turf from Marco Island to Lakewood Ranch, plus Miami-Dade.
Pet Turf FAQs
Straight answers to what dog owners ask us most.
Is artificial turf safe for dogs?
Yes. Quality pet turf is non-toxic and lead-free, and it gives dogs a soft, clean surface without the mud, fertilizers, pesticides or fire ants that come with natural grass in Florida. We use turf and infill made for pet areas.
Will pet turf smell like urine?
Not when it is built correctly. Odor comes from urine that has nowhere to go. We install turf with a fully permeable backing over a compacted, free-draining base, and we recommend antimicrobial or odor-neutralizing infill. A regular rinse and a periodic enzyme cleaning keep it fresh, even in Florida heat.
How do I clean up after my dog on artificial turf?
Pick up solid waste like you would on grass, then rinse the area with a hose. For busy dog runs, a pet-safe enzyme cleaner once or twice a month breaks down residue. We also offer professional turf cleaning if you would rather not do it yourself.
Can dogs dig through or damage pet turf?
Pet turf is much harder to dig through than grass and dirt, and we secure the edges so dogs cannot pull them up. Most dogs lose interest in digging once there is no loose soil. Heavy chewers should be supervised on any surface.
Does pet turf get hot in the summer?
Any surface in direct Florida sun warms up, including pavers and pool decks. We help you choose lighter, cooler-running turf and infill, place turf where there is shade when possible, and a quick rinse cools it down fast on hot afternoons.
How does pet turf handle Florida rain?
Water drains straight through the permeable backing into the gravel base, so the yard is usable minutes after a storm. No puddles, no mud and no muddy paws on your floors.
How much does pet turf cost?
Pet turf pricing depends on the size of the area, how much grass and soil has to be removed, the base and drainage work, and the turf and infill you choose. We measure for free and send a clear, itemized quote. Financing is available.
Do you build commercial dog parks?
Yes. We build dog parks and pet relief areas for apartment communities, HOAs, condos, kennels, groomers and veterinary clinics, including turf-wrapped agility features, tree rings and wash-down-friendly layouts.
How long does pet turf last?
With proper installation and regular rinsing, quality pet turf lasts many years. Manufacturer warranties vary by product, and we will walk you through the options for your yard.
Can you install pet turf in a narrow side yard or dog run?
Absolutely. Side-yard dog runs are one of our most popular projects. We cut turf to fit around AC units, pool equipment and fences, and grade the run so it drains away from the house.
